Jesus Christ Is God – Creator Of All
Our Only Savior
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Before anything was there was God, the Creator of the heaven and the earth.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us,
These verses tell us that the Word of God was in the beginning with God and He was God, He was the Creator of all things, without Him nothing was made, and all thing that exist were created by Him. The Word is identified as the one who became flesh and lived among us; none other then Jesus Christ, the Son of God. The second person of the trinity, God in human flesh who came to this earth to redeem us from the penalty of sin. Our creator is also our savior.
Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
The child born of the virgin had no human father, He truly was the Son of God. The child’s blood does not come from the mother but it comes from the father. He had no human father; therefore, He was not descended from Adam with Adam’s sin nature. Furthermore, since He did not have Adam’s sin nature, He was able to give Himself as a perfect sin offering for our sins. He was able to take our sins upon Himself and fulfill the law of God on our behalf.
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Word of God , is the Almighty Creator of all that exist, and He is also our Savior. The one who created us and keeps us is also the one who redeemed us from the penalty of our sins by His blood, shed for us on the cross.
Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
Jesus identified Himself as “I AM”, the name of the God of Israel.
And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.
I and my Father are one. Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.
Jesus identified Himself as God. The Jews who rejected Him understood what He was saying when He said He was one with His Father. There are many unbelievers today that refuse to believe He is God; nevertheless, the bible identifies Him as the Son of God; therefore, being equal with God.
Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, emptied Himself of his glory and power, in order to become a man and die in our place, for the forgiveness of our sins. Jesus was fully God and fully man when He took our sins upon Himself and died for us, to purchase our redemption.
He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
All who receive Jesus, by believing in Him, are born again by the will and power of God. All true believers are true children of the Almighty, Eternal God, the Creator of heaven and earth.
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
We receive Jesus Christ by believing in Him, and when we believe in Him, God makes us to be a new creation in Christ, born again sons of God.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Because God loved us He gave His only Son to die for us in our place, so that He could forgive our sins and receive us as His own Sons. All who believe in Him are forgiven and given everlasting life, but all who reject Him, by refusing to believe in Him, are condemned already because they don’t believe in Him. Our destiny is already settled, salvation is now ours by believing in Jesus Christ, and damnation is now for all who refuse to believe in Him.
He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
I Jn 5:10
He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
Over and over again, the bible says believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God and be saved. The gospel message is very simple, believe in the Son of God, Jesus Christ, and receive everlasting life. On the other hand, those who reject the Son of God will experience the wrath of God. Salvation is available to all, the invitation to believe in Jesus Christ is given to all, yet many continue to reject the invitation to believe and be saved. God is certainly justified in condemning all who refuse to accept His offer of salvation especially since it cost Him so much and it cost us nothing to receive the forgiveness He offers.
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. I and my Father are one.
All who believe in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins have eternal life and are keep secure in the hand of God for all eternity, and His Almighty hand is holding us securely with all His power. We are secure as He is all powerful.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Jesus is the only way, we have His word on it. There is no other way, no religion, no amount of good works, no anything that can make us right with God.
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Again, we are told that Jesus Christ is the only way to be saved, the only way for us to approach God. If a person trust in anything or anyone besides Jesus, that person cannot be saved. No religion, and not amount of good works can ever save us.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
Before God created the world He planed to redeem us by the blood of His Son; so that, we might be to the praise of the glory of His grace. In other words, before He created us He knew He would need to save us from our sins, yet He still created us in order that He would be able to demonstrated the glory of His grace, by saving us, by grace alone.
In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
God saved us in order that we might be to the praise of His glory. We are saved by His doing on our behalf, not by our doing. There is nothing we can do to make ourselves just before God, and even though He would be just in condemning us all to hell forever He saved us to demonstrate His grace, to the praise of His glory we are saved.
In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
We were saved by God and sealed with His Holy Spirit, and are being keep saved by God to the praise of His glory. Our salvation is all about what God has done and is doing for us, it is not about what we have done. All the praise and glory for our salvation is for Him and not for ourselves.
For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another.
All that God does is for His glory; when we try to take credit for our salvation we are trying to rob Him of His glory. All who try to take credit for their salvation, even a little credit, are trying to rob God of the glory that is due Him and only Him. Think about it.
1 Cor 1:29-31
That no flesh should glory in his presence. But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.
God deserves all the credit, and all the glory, for saving us. We should seek to give Him all the glory He deserves, and stop trying to glorify ourselves by claiming we somehow deserve to be saved, or by thinking God saw something good in us that caused Him to save us. Our salvation is all about the grace of God toward us.
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
We are saved by grace; it is unearned and undeserved. Even the faith through which we are saved is a gift of God. Our salvation is all of God’s doing and none of our doing. To God alone be all the glory for our salvation. No one can boast that they, in any way, deserve to be saved.
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
We have been made right with God by the sacrifice of His Son, by the blood of Christ; furthermore, we have confidence in knowing that He now lives, and His purpose is to save us for eternity. If He fails to keep us, His sacrifice and all that He has done is for nothing. He cannot and will not fail in all His good purpose for us, and He will never give up on us, no matter how much we fail.
Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
Jesus Christ, our Savior, is now in heaven interceding for us. In light of all He has accomplished on our behalf, we know He will never give up on us. He didn’t give up when it was going to cost Him so much, when He was facing the cross for us, there is no way He is going to give up now. God is not a quitter, there is no way He is going to quit on us now nor ever.
1 Cor 15:3-4
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
If you truly believe all that the word of God, the bible, says about Jesus Christ: that He is the Son of God, that He is God, our Creator, and that He gave His blood and died for the forgiveness of your sins by taking your sins upon Himself on the cross, that He was buried, and that He rose again after being in the grave for three days and three nights, you are saved. You are totally forgiven for all your sins, you are born again, you are a new creature, you are a true child of God, you have eternal life, and you are being keep secure by the power of God forever.
In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
Jesus promised He will come again and receive us to Himself, that we will someday be with Him in His Father’s house. We can count on it, we will be with Him forever. It is His plan and purpose to keep us saved for eternity, and He cannot fail because he is God.
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
All true believers will someday be resurrected and united with Jesus Christ for all eternity. We have a wonderful and eternal future to look forward to, and we should take great comfort in knowing we are saved to be with our God and Savior, Jesus Christ, forever.
